Reading Silence
This work explores the experience of reading lips and navigating communication between English and ASL. The reflections in the glasses represent different faces, expressions, and fragments of visual information that a Deaf person observes in order to understand communication.

Schools for the deaf are being closed, and Deaf children have been transferred to mainstream schools. But they remain lonely.

Love Yourself
This work explores a dialogue between a Deaf adult and his inner child. The adult, painted in muted tones, stands before a mirror where he sees not his reflection, but a bright, joyful boy signing “I Love You” in American Sign Language (ASL).
The child represents Deaf identity, pride, and a time before the pressure to hide parts of oneself. The surrounding skyscrapers symbolize the expectations and barriers of the hearing world, while the mirror becomes a portal between past and present.
Through this encounter, the adult reconnects with the part of himself that still shines—reminding him that Deaf pride, language, and self-love remain within.

Bridging Two Worlds
A boy walks on a tightrope while holding heavy weights. With each step, his shoe marked "deaf" presses down on the rope, and the weight in his hand sinks lower.
This symbolizes how we move through life: every time we step into the space of Deaf people, we communicate through sign language; every time we step into the space of hearing people, we shift to English through speech, writing, or lip-reading.

Why Was I the Last to know?
This work explores the experience of a Deaf person receiving important information after everyone else has already heard it. While the hearing world reacts to what is happening, she is left searching for visual clues and trying to understand what she has missed. The work reflects communication barriers, delayed access to information, and the isolation that can result from being excluded from communication.

Glass sculptures
My glass sculptures explore Deaf identity, communication, and the relationship between the human body, technology, and visual experience. Through glass, I transform familiar forms and personal narratives into sculptural expressions of Deaf culture, identity, and communication.
Blue Ink & Resist
This series explores the human body, movement, identity, and communication through overlapping figures and gestures. Each image is drawn by hand with liquid resist on paper. Once the resist dries, the surface is covered with layers of blue ink. The resist is then removed, revealing white lines against the intense blue and creating a sense of movement, connection, and visual rhythm.
